I’m Caroline, so glad you found me!
I'm a Libra Sun and Aries Moon. However, it wasn’t until I truly understood the placements of my Moon, Neptune, Venus, and Jupiter, in particular, that I truly grasped the power and accuracy of astrology. Then I was hooked! Astrology provides the perfect mirror to understand ourselves more fully.
Many of us will relate more to our Moon sign than our Sun sign, or perhaps an important aspect in the birth chart makes things really click into place.
Astrology is much more than just your sun sign!
Our birth chart is a map of the solar system from the moment of our birth, and from the place we were born. The birth chart gives deep, practical insights into our personality, life path, and the challenges and opportunities we may face.
My approach to astrology uses Placidus western astrology charts alongside tropical Vedic teaching, influenced by Phaladeepika by Mantreswara and Vic di Cara.

Why Tropical Vedic astrology? Aren't you a Dublin Western astrologer?
I use Western Placidus charts, but I'm also very influenced by classical Indian astrology,
and the rules of dignity - how comfortable or challenged a planet is in its sign and house.
How has your understanding of astrology developed over the years?
I used to think the weekly horoscopes in magazines were just fluff!
Then when I first looked at my own birth chart around ten years ago, my Moon and Neptune placements showed me how stunningly accurate astrology could be in explaining aspects of my own personality.
Then I began looking at other people's charts and discovered the same thing.
What do you look for first when you open someone's birth chart?
I make notes of any obviously exalted or dignified planets, and those that may be struggling. Then I look at the tightest aspects. Anything with an orb of less than one degree gets a big pen ring around it!
I'm particularly interested in repeated patterns across a chart.
Can astrology really predict the future, or is there room for free will?
There is always free will.
The chart may describe our tendencies, strengths and challenges, but what we choose to do with that knowledge is another matter entirely.
Knowing long term transits can be really helpful - much like sailing and knowing where there may be choppy waters and currents working in your favour!
How do you approach difficult planetary placements or challenging transits in a reading?
Sometimes a person isn't fully using their natural strengths, and that can be part of the reason they're seeking guidance or a greater sense of alignment in their life.
I'm interested in understanding both the difficulty and the potential within a chart.
What do you hope someone takes away from a consultation with you?
There is usually at least one big takeaway from a meeting with me.
Sometimes it's a gift that has been lying dormant. Perhaps Mercury is working incredibly hard for you, for example, and you're not making the most of it.

Aside from Vedic influences, what else influences your astrological approach?
Astrology is a language, and if you understand the language, you understand the chart. Understanding the myth and archetypes behind the symbols is essential. They appear everywhere - fairytales, myth, pagan religions, The Tarot.
It helps that I love literature and have a degree in Psychology!

Expect a comfortable, inviting space in my home where we’ll explore various aspects of your life, including career, relationships, home life, social activities, childhood, creativity, hidden impulses, hopes, and dreams. As well as doing birth chart readings, I also do relationship readings and predictive astrology based on progressions and transits.
