Synastry is the art of comparing two natal charts—overlaying them to examine how the planets of one person interact with the chart of another.  Looking at important conjunctions, oppositions, trines, squares—as well as the role of the lunar nodes, rulers of the ascendant, and relevant fixed stars or asteroids that may echo deeper themes.

​This may include some current transits and progressions where relevant, as the timing of your connection may carry its own astrological signature.
